Sylvie Bantle,Born in 1955, writer and filmmaker from Munich, now lives mainly in Kerala/South India. Traveled through Europe as a teenager, overland to India in 1977 and further and further around the globe – Southeast Asia, Africa, America, the Pacific. Between extensive trips - with a special interest in ancient cultures, indigenous peoples, wilderness - freelance fashion and costume artist for theater, film, drag shows, magicians, women, men and VIPs. From 1997 book publications.

Brandloch was part of the stage program "Bridges to Democracy" on the square of the victims of National Socialism, 850th anniversary,  Altstadtringfest, Munich.

From 1998 films in collaboration with husband Alexander Devasia, painter from Kerala/South India. Participation in international film festivals. 2000 Bronze Award in Tokyo for the documentary »Mortuary-Joseph«.
